Holy shit. Your father called last night. It's just amazing that he took the time to do that. I can't thank you enough. The call lifted our spirits in a big way, and he even offered to call Sloan Kettering (where we are transferring) on our behalf.

Bennett is still sedated but making a little progress each day. Like: He stuck his tongue out on command yesterday, which the neurosurgeon said is a good indication that he will recover language function in the brain. Things like that. The kid is fighting hard.

Oh and Bennett's neurosurgeon told us that one of his professors later treated your father after his aneurysms. Small world.
