Hi, Kathleen and Hunter. Below is information about the Enviro field trip. Best, Min From: "Emily Boyer boyere@sidwell.edu<mailto:boyere@sidwell.edu>" <boyere@pcreducator.com<mailto:boyere@pcreducator.com>> Reply-To: Emily Boyer <BoyerE@sidwell.edu<mailto:BoyerE@sidwell.edu>> Date: Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2:36 PM Subject: Environmental Science Field Trip - May 20 Dear Parents, On Friday, May 20th, my environmental science students will be participating in National Geographic's BioBlitz in which we will be one of many groups around the city (and the country) conducting an inventory of living things. Since we are now well versed in macroinvertebrate identification (from our fall field trip), we will be collecting and identifying macroinvertebrates from Melvin Hazen near Pierce Mill in Rock Creek Park. In order to participate, all students must have a signed Sidwell permission slip as well as a signed BioBlitz permission slip. I am attaching both forms to this email. Please either print them and send them back to school with your child or scan them and email them back to me. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you! -Emily Boyer PS - If you would like to learn more about BioBlitz and see the different events going on around the city (May 20-21) go to http://nationalgeographic.org/projects/bioblitz/
