Congrats -- in NO for my son's from Tulane. Talk in next week or so. All best, Eric ________________________________ On: 13 May 2016 14:25, "Hunter Biden" <hbiden@rosemontseneca.com> wrote: Eric, Now its my turn to apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Good to hear things are going well. Crazy how time flies- I'm going to my daughter's college graduation this weekend. Great idea to get together. I'm meeting with Rick Leach next Thursday and will discuss this with him then circle back with you. Look forward to catching up soon. If you are interested and able to do so, it would be great to arrange a time in May for you to come over to DOL to discuss WFP US with our core team. As noted, there are very positive views here of the four-year child labor project in Egypt, and we’d welcome the chance to compare notes and share more about the work of our child labor/forced labor office and beyond. I am in town most of May, aside from going to my two sons’ graduations (one from Tulane undergrad, the other a Master’s in Ed program just up the road at Hopkins), though leave around Memorial Day for almost two weeks in Geneva. Btw, great how quickly WFP was out front in responding to the quake in Ecuador – just sent in a contribution online last night. We have a project there that is just winding down, and while elements of it were severely impacted, so far we have not heard of any fatalities among participants, though not sure about family members. Hope to see you soon. All best, Eric Eric R. The hunger issues tie more directly to our work at ILAB than one might think -- just this morning, in fact, I met with a team from Hershey about how their food and nutrition work in West Africa relates directly to our objectives of keeping kids healthy and in school instead of engaged in child labor. And the same is true in many other areas. Meanwhile, the challenges persist – as does the travel, with a trip to Uzbekistan end of this week (now via Seoul rather than Istanbul) next up on my plate. All best with your ongoing work, and look forward to being in touch. Best, Eric Eric R.
