I understand that you met with our local team in China again after our meeting in Wilmington last week and the Shenzhen site topic was brought up in the meeting. As we stated in our meeting in Wilmington, the Shenzhen deal is no longer active and the deal is complete.

Should other opportunities arise we will keep your firm in mind but I ask that you please not revisit the Shenzhen site in future interactions.

I am very appreciative that Hunter made the introduction on behalf of HIG, and I look forward to building a relationship with the team at DuPont, as well as exploring areas that we can work together in the future.

As recommended, I will follow up with Chris Koelsch and Shelly Stewart via email to find a time to meet either over the phone or in-person, whichever best accommodates our schedules. I am in Washington, DC, and as Hunter knows, it’s a quick train ride to Wilmington.

Also, I will be traveling to Beijing, China from March 10th until March 18th. While there, I’d like to arrange an introductory meeting with the appropriate contact in China overseeing your facility in Shenzhen. I’m flexible, and can accommodate my travel arrangements accordingly. I can talk more in-depth about this with Chris.

HIG is a firm headquartered in Washington, DC. Their parent-company, Harves Century Group, is headquartered in Shenyang. Harves Cenury Group is a top tier private real estate development firm with offices and projects all over China. Harves has developed over 50 million square acres of land in China to date, among them, many multi-billion dollar developments. Their reputation is impeccable, and they have strong local, provincial, and national level government relationships - specifically in Shenzhen - which is essential in getting any major project done.

Bo Zhang, CC’d on this email is the Chairman of Harves Investment Group, and he is also involved in the leadership of Harves Century Group. As Eric discussed with you, Bo Zhang will be in China in the next couple of weeks and would like to arrange an introductory meeting with DuPont's person in China to talk about your facility in Shenzhen. I know that it is currently under contract, but I think it would be worth DuPont's time to at least meet with Bo as an introduction to HIG and Harves Century Group should there any issues or other opportunities down the road.
