Dear Friends:On behalf of the faculty and staff, I am delighted to offer your child reenrollment at Sidwell Friends for the 2015/16 academic year.On a personal note, I can say that it has been an honor to “reenroll” in the Sidwell Friends community to serve your children as Head of School. Over the past month, I too, have been a student, coming to appreciate characteristics of the community I left nine years ago and learning about the growth that has taken place since then. In particular, I have enjoyed visiting classes and witnessing firsthand the extraordinary relationships that our faculty and students forge with one another. The depth of the intellectual conversation, the commitment to Quaker values of peace, justice, and equality, and the determination of our faculty and students to use their talents to advance the greater good have been inspiring.I look forward to meeting you and working together to steward the extraordinary legacy of Sidwell Friends.
