The first Community Service Committee Family Service Project will be Saturday, October 13th. Bring the whole family out to Claggett Farm for the first of 3 opportunities during the year to participate in a Family Service Project, a rare chance to meet families from all 3 divisions and enjoy the beautiful fall weather while making a contribution to this non-profit working farm that is part of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Claggett Farm raises a wide variety of produce and strives to provide its food to people of all income levels through the Community Supported Agriculture Program, and through a joint effort with the Capital Area Food Bank. Almost half of its produce is distributed free or at reduced prices to underserved communities in Washington, D.C. This project is suitable for all ages. We will meet at Claggett Farm around 9:30 a.m. Interested families should rsvp to Leslie Rose at leslirose@aol.com<mailto:leslirose@aol.com>, Upper School Community Service co-Clerk with Maria Gomez. Claggett Farm can accommodate 25 volunteers so sign up soon! Buy a pumpkin while you're there. Thank you, Leslie Rose
