We’re only 38 days away from Election Day and this race is really coming down to the wire.

My opponent has pledged to spend $20 million of his own fortune to win this fall – and he’s already funded his campaign to the tune of at least $7 million worth of false ads attacking my record.

I’m proud of what I’ve done as your Senator. At a time when so many politicians are focused on pushing a rigid ideological agenda, I’ve always worked to look beyond party lines and the talking points to fight for what really matters – issues like protecting Medicare, keeping good jobs here in the United States and securing tax breaks for the middle class.

I wish my record could speak for itself – but the game has changed. With my opponent ready and willing to open his checkbook up to fund the next attacks, and outside special interest groups poised to weigh in, I need your help today to ensure this campaign has the resources to fight back and win in November.
