THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
The First Tee of Greater Baltimore would like to thank you for your generous support
of our Leaders in the Clubhouse Golf Classic on September 19th at Caves Valley Golf
Club.
It is because of your generosity that we are able to impact thousands of youth each
year in the Greater Baltimore area. Our program reaches over 30,000 students through
in school, after school, and weekend programs. We are fortunate to offer programming
at all Baltimore City public courses and proud that our new facility, the Caves
Valley Golf Club Foundation Learning Center at Forest Park, has allowed us to double
our reach in West Baltimore.
The Baltimore Caddie Academy offers 14 students the opportunity to be paid caddies
at Baltimore Country Club and to work toward receiving the Evans Scholarship through
the Western Golf Association. DeAndre Diggs is now attending the University of Maryland
Eastern Shore on a full scholarship made possible through the Caves Valley Golf
Club Foundation. We had two students who participated in the Nature Valley First
Tee Open at Pebble Beach, Kendel Abrams and Jairus Gaines. Jairus placed 10th in
a field of 81 participants! Opportunities like these are the ones that can change
the trajectory of our students lives and empower them to be leaders on and off of
the golf course. Please know you are making a TREMENDOUS difference in the lives
of our youth and we are deeply grateful for your support.
