Dear Beloved Spiritual Apprentice Class 2016-2017, 🌠

Our first study group with the book *Wherever You Go There You Are *by Jon
Kabat-Zinn was really quite profound; I was delighted by the depth that
came out of the conversation with everyone sharing important realizations
and awarenesses.

Together we created an interesting, nuanced and depthful understanding of
what presence is and what the distractions to it are. For the couple of
people who couldn’t be on the call and for any of you who want to listen to
it, we recorded it. You can listen to it by clicking this link.

The next class is a Growth Day on Monday, September 19 from 3 p.m. to 10
p.m. Please bring water to drink, fruit to share, and your notebooks.

Tomorrow we will be giving everyone a list of everyone’s name with phone
number and email so that you may contact each other as needed. We will
make any corrections are needed to this list tomorrow.

Here are the dates that we have all agreed upon for the next several
classes:

INSERT DATES HERE:
September 19 3pm - 10pm
October 3 4pm-9m and/or October 18th 10am-3pm
November 21 3pm -10pm
December 11 10am - 3pm and/or December 19 4pm - 9pm
January 29 10am - 5pm
February 12 No time Determined

Please bring your calendars to class so we can work out the dates for the
rest of the year while everyone’s schedules are still relatively open.

Coming out of the book discussion there was an assignment to gather as a
small group and create an exercise that your group can lead the whole class
through to help us experience being present, to help us increase within
ourselves the power of the present moment. We will assign the groups
during class tomorrow.

Tomorrow we begin to deepen our capacity to live from Love/Essence/God in
every moment. We take the conscious breathing and begin to bring it to
presence, and then into all our relationships.

I am thinking of all of you with great appreciation and holding your
journey with great tenderness and devotion.

Love and Blessings always,💜

Jessica
