Thank you to those parents who were able to attend the 1<em><strong>2th Grade Parent Night with College Counseling</strong></em> last night. I have attached the <span style="background-color:#ffff00;">Power Point Presentation</span> to this email, as well as the <span style="background-color:#ff0000;">Transcript Release Form</span> ,which must be signed by the student and a parent and returned to the College Counseling Office.</p>

<em><strong>By Federal Law, the College Counseling Office must have the Transcript Release Form in order to release a student's transcript.</strong></em></p>

As you may have noted on Sidwell's Calendar - This Monday, September 19th , a <strong>12th Grade Parent Conversation</strong> is scheduled with the College Counseling Office at 8 am im the RLS Meeting Room. This event serves as an opportunity for any 12th grade parent to attend who may have questions about the college process, items/concerns discussed at last night's 12th Grade Parent Night College Presentation, etc...</p>

Colleges have started visiting Sidwell Friends. These “college meetings” are for seniors only and provide an opportunity for interested students to learn about a school and ask questions. The list can found by logging onto the SFS Website, clicking on Upper School, then clicking on College Counseling and then clicking “Colleges Visiting SFS.” Keep in mind, colleges are still scheduling their appointments and are subject to change. Next week's college schedule is posted in this email (above).</p>
