The application deadline for admission to MSFS is rapidly approaching, and
we are seeking faculty members for the MSFS Admissions Committee. We
welcome both practitioner-faculty and full-time faculty!


The process is entirely online -- so you can read files whenever and
wherever you have a computer and Internet access. For those who would like
food and company while reading, we will have weekly lunch/dinnertime
reading sessions on campus as well.


Our application deadline is January 15th, and our peak reading season is
mid-January through mid-March. If you can only read for part of the season,
that's fine.

The one thing that is required for new committee members is *training* --
we want to make sure you have all the tools you need to have a successful
experience.


On Monday, January 14th and Wednesday, January 16th, we will be holding
training sessions from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Executive Conference Room
(ECR) on the 7th floor of the ICC. Only one session is required, so you can
choose which one you come to. Just let us know ahead of time in order for
us to have enough dinner for you. If you've read files before, you don't
have to attend another training session -- but you are most welcome to come
if you'd like a refresher.

This is a great experience for faculty. I learn a lot about our applicant
pool by serving on the Admissions Committee and look forward to reading
