Senior Celebration Planning Meeting: **Calling All Senior Parents! * US Choral Room Monday, December 3 7:00 pm Please join our Senior Celebration leadership team for the first, fun, kick-off event. Senior Celebration is an evening for seniors, put on by and featuring parents including a reception followed by a delightful and maybe embarrassing (for them) variety show by the parents. Traditionally, at some point, *all the parents take the stage**!* * Note: We keep all details of the senior celebration secret from our seniors! * It's up to us to plan this beloved evening for parents and seniors. There are opportunities to participate from planning the invitations to organizing the food and decorations to creating elements of the show itself. *All skill sets are needed,* and we need many captains! Don't miss the opportunity to help make this an awesome, fun and memorable celebration for the class of 2019! Senior Celebration itself is Saturday, June 1, from 6–9 p.m., at the Kogod Arts Center. Come join us! Your Senior Celebration Chairs: Anne Conlee Mazlish (aconlish@aol.com) Elise Goldstein (ekggoldstein@gmail.com) Katy Harvey (kharvey@nps-dc.org) Sunita Iyer (ssiyer@aol.com) *3. Quaker Life Coffee & Conversation with EJC * Bernstein Drawing Room, Zartman House Monday, November 26 8:00 a.m. Please join us at the next Quaker Life Committee Parent Coffee on Monday. Our November coffee will be a conversation with the members of the Equity, Justice and Community Committee. We'll talk about the overlap between our committee work and specifically explore a partnership to focus on issues of equity, fairness, justice, cooperation. This promises to be an interesting and meaningful exchange and hope to see you there. Over the course of the school year, the Quaker Life Committee will hold these informal coffees so we can gather and help families understand Quakerism and the ways it enriches our community and the Sidwell Friends educational experience for our children. *4. **A Night for Scholars – Kickoff Meetings * Wednesday November 28 8:30-9:15 a.m., Lower School Quaker Meeting House, Bethesda Campus 6-6:45pm, US Room 102, Upper School Campus The fun starts now!
