Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is with mixed emotions that I write to announce that after five and a
half wonderful years at JER, I have accepted a new position with First
Washington Realty. My time working for Joe was both important and
special and I was deeply saddened at his early passing. I am forever
indebted to Joe for sharing with me his knowledge and experience and for
allowing me to help him in the final years of his life. He stands as a
model not just as a consummate businessman, but as a compassionate human
being, full of passion for improving the lives of others, which he so
successfully did year after year. I wish we had the chance for many
more years working together.

Success is rarely an individual endeavor. I appreciate having had the
opportunity to meet and work with you and am grateful for your help and
support.

I am looking forward to new adventures at First Washington Realty.
