The spot features Cheryl Harris telling
the story of her son, Staff Sgt. Ryan Maseth, who was electrocuted by
faulty wiring in a shower in Iraq. After Cheryl reached out to Bob
Casey, he pressed the Department of Defense for answers and for faster
inspections and repairs at U.S. facilities in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A large-scale inspection and repair
effort in Iraq and Afghanistan targeted and fixed thousands of
electrical problems. And Bob Casey's legislation to hold contractors
accountable and to correct electrical problems was signed into law.
