Dear Sidwell Friends Parents & Guardians,

We are very excited to invite the you to attend a workshop led by noted Quaker facilitation expert, Arthur Larrabee sponsored by the SFS Parents Association. A Quaker Approach to Decision-making and Facilitating Meetings will take place on Thursday August 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room on the Wisconsin Avenue campus; there will be a light supper served before in the lobby starting at 5:30 pm.

Arthur Larrabee is a noted expert on Quaker facilitation and decisionmaking processes and the former General Secretary of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. This workshop will be a great way to learn about Quaker meeting management and decisionmaking practices and to consider how we can apply these practices in the parents association and our lives. Also, it will be an opportunity for us to take a breath, share a moment of silence, and catch up with each other as we head into the school year. We look forward to seeing you!
