Just a few months ago, I stood on the State House floor and defended Iowa women from having their reproductive rights stripped away by lawmakers. I said then, and still believe now, that the government needs to respect women's abilities to make their own decisions.

Which is why I'm honored to have the endorsement of NARAL in the race to take back Iowa's First Congressional District. NARAL has been an important advocate for the rights of women for decades, and I'm proud to have them on my side.

And I believe that you, friend, deserve to have an advocate for women’s healthcare on your side as well.

It’s a woman’s right to be able to make their own decisions on when, how, and with whom they start a family. After all, reproductive justice is economic justice. Unless women can make decisions about their body, they won’t be able to achieve full equality.

I’m proud to be a fierce and passionate ally for women and won’t back down when it comes to fighting for Iowans.

From standing up and speaking out on equal pay for equal work to defending a woman's right to make her own healthcare decisions, I will always be a voice for women's rights, both in the State House and Congress.
