Hi folks, Our conference for law enforcement - Technology and Child Protection: 21st Century Solutions to 21st Century Problems - is scheduled for October 20, at Delaware Law School in Wilmington. It should be noted on your calendars. I’ve attached a draft of the flyer we’ll be using to promote the event, and the registration site is now live at www.beaubidenfoundation.org/LEC. We have a great group of panelists and presenters, and will begin marketing this to local law enforcement agencies on Monday. The flyer will be distributed at the Fraternal Order of Police’s national conference in Nashville next week. We’re holding time for opening and closing remarks, for a representative of the BBF and of our presenting sponsor (hopefully WL Gore & Associates). If Gore falls through, we might ask the head of Delaware State Police or Governor Carney. As with other events, we have no expectation that the VP or Dr. Biden would want to make remarks, but I’d like to offer them the opportunity if they’ll be in town and would like the opportunity to address the group of about 150 local and regional law enforcement officers and officials. If this is a possibility, let me and Patty know. Thank you! /ja Joshua Alcorn 302/295.8340 (office) 302/598.1885 (cell) josh@beaubidenfoundation.org
