JEFFERSON CITY/ TOPEKA -- A federal judge on Monday ruled Missouri's ban
restricting protests at funerals is unconstitutional. The ruling on the
other side of the state line, comes in a lawsuit filed by the Phelps family
and Westboro Baptist Church, whose members picket outside the funerals of
American soldiers. The group says the deaths are God's punishment for the
U.S. tolerating homosexuality.
