Just had a really interesting lunch with Trent Vichie who runs Blackstone's Infra Fund. He was incredibly open and forward with his thoughts. Basically we have a tremendous opportunity to formalize a partnership there if we were so inclined for 'new economy infrastructure investing.' No action necessary now but just wanted to get it off my chest and think about in August. We could basically propose terms along the lines of what Brian Mathis proposed to us but be doing it with Blackstone Infrastructure Partners in a JV structure. I need a ciggy.
