Dear Member,

As we are nearing the end of the third week of the pool repair I wanted to
give you an update on the progress. The repair has gone well and the
leak has been fixed, the pool has been resurfaced and water was filled
yesterday for the new product to settle, harden and dry. This will take
another several days and contractors are still present working on other
areas of the pool level. They are tracking just about 2 days behind at
this time and we are estimating to be able to reopen the pool level on
Wednesday August 23rd at our normal opening time.

We appreciate your patience as always during this process and look forward
to having our facilities complete again for all to enjoy.

Subject: upcoming pool repair and closure


Dear Member,

In our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve your experience in our
health club we will be undergoing a repair project to fix a slow leak in
our pool. This work will create some noise and dust as the Contractors are
removing layers of the pool to resurface it's perimeter.
For this project the entire pool level will need to remain closed for a 3
week period starting on Monday July 31st and we will take the opportunity
to update other parts of the space as well. The jacuzzi will not be
available during this time. While we realize that August might not be the
ideal time to be without a pool it does present the lowest occupancy in
our hotel. Historically, many Washingtonians are out of town during this
month.

No other facilities in the club will be affected and we will continue to
operate with our usual hours from 5:30am to 10pm daily.

We have made arrangement with the Fairmont Hotel located at 2401 M Street
NW for our members to use their pool during this period. Please contact
either myself or Bethany Lehr for a complimentary guest pass.
Pool hours at the Fairmont are as follows:
open Monday - Friday 5:30am - 10pm
adult swim Monday - Friday 5:30am - 9am and 6pm-10pm
open Saturday - Sunday: 8am - 8pm
adult swim Saturday - Sunday 8am - 10am and 6pm - 8pm
outside of these adult swim hours they have 'open swim' which means that
families may be present or not. The adult swim hours guarantee lap
swimming only.

Please be assured that the team and I will be available for you at all
times during this repair process.
