*AGREEMENT TO CONDUCT ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION ( "AGREEMENT" )*

1. You agreed for us to electronically deliver to you your insurance
declarations page and policy, any amendment forms, or reinstatement
documents (the "Policy Documents") when you purchased "Renters Insurance",
continuing until such time as either party modifies or cancels this
Agreement. You acknowledge and understand that you will receive these
electronic Policy Documents instead of paper documents in the US Mail,
including any Policy Documents related to your policy's renewal. All other
notices and correspondence will be sent or will continue to be sent by U.S.
Mail.
2. At any time while this Agreement is effective, you may obtain a paper
copy of a particular Policy Document at no charge by contacting us and
requesting a copy through any of the following methods: calling us at
1-877-900-0344 <(877)%20900-0344>, emailing us at rentersmail@assurant.com,
or writing to us at Assurant, Attn: Specialty Services 5th Floor, 11222
Quail Roost Drive, Miami, FL 33157.
3. You may terminate this Agreement at any time for any reason whatsoever
by notifying us through any of the following methods: calling us at
1-877-900-0344 <(877)%20900-0344>, emailing us at rentersmail@assurant.com,
or writing to us at Assurant, Attn: Specialty Services 5th Floor, 11222
Quail Roost Drive, Miami, FL. After the termination is processed by us,
which may take up to 5 business days, all future Policy Documents will be
provided to you in paper form via U.S. Mail at the address you have
provided us. Termination of this Agreement shall not affect legal
enforceability of any Policy Documents provided to you before the date in
which you revoked consent for electronic delivery of your Policy Documents.
4. Since email correspondence will be the primary method of communication
between you and us while this Agreement is in effect, you agree that you
will promptly notify us of a change in your email address.
5. To access and view the Policy Documents, you will need an Internet
connection, an active, valid email account, and Adobe Acrobat Reader. You
will need the hardware capabilities to electronically store or save your
Policy Documents, and you will also need a functional printer to print out
your Policy Documents.
6. You are responsible for accessing, opening and reading your Policy
Documents. Electronic Policy Documents have the same legal effect as
printed ones. If you cannot access, open or read any Policy Documents, you
must contact us. You agree that your email account is configured to
properly receive incoming emails from rentersmail@assurant.com. To ensure
proper delivery, you must add "rentersmail@assurant.com" to your email
account's list of safe senders."
7. We may amend the terms of this Agreement at any time by providing notice
to you of the amendment(s). If you do not agree with the term(s) of the
amendment(s), you can terminate this Agreement as described above in
Section 3.
8. We do not warrant that the delivery of electronic Policy Documents will
be uninterrupted or free of error. We are not liable for any loss or damage
arising from problems or issues with your equipment or your
telecommunications provider, for your failure to meet your responsibilities
as outlined in this Agreement or on our website, for your failure to
access, open and read your Policy Documents after they are sent to you, or
for any equipment problems or other occurrences beyond our reasonable
control.
