My dearest Hunter,

I've been thinking about you every day, all day. I want you to know how I proud I am of you. I also want you to know that you should be proud. Tell you counselor that your wife said that everyone you touch, your children and your wife, are better people because of you. I look at our girls, how they respond to things, how they think about things, is all better because of you. You are the center of our world and we love you. Everyone has problems and obstacles. You have never put anything before us and we feel that. The girls and I know that we are the most important people in your life. Your love and attention makes us better people. You are kind, thoughtful and generous. You make us want to be kind, thoughtful and generous.

I can't wait for you to come home. We are so lucky that we get this reboot in our life. When you get back, the girls and I are excited to resume our days together. We know that you are going to be more present. But know that you've been present. While you have been struggling, you have been with us. You've never left. It's harder for us this time because you are a part of every second of our day. You know when the girls have tests, when we are sad and when we have something to celebrate. You haven't missed a second in our lives.

You are getting stronger and that means that we all are getting stronger. When you get back, we will hit the ground running. Our girls are so special. I can't believe how lucky we are to have three perfect girls. There isn't one thing I would change about them. Tonight, while we were having dinner at your parent's house, I watched Finnegan and Maisy closely. So many mannerisms are yours. I love our family and I love the part you play. You are the perfect husband for me and the perfect father to our girls. We love you so much.
