Yesterday, Connecticut and Colorado held primaries and Georgia held a runoff
election to determine the GOP candidates for Attorney General in those
states. In our continued efforts to keep you informed about the latest

_Connecticut_
Last night former candidate for Connecticut Attorney General, Martha Dean
(R) defeated attorney Ross Garber (R) in the Republican primary for attorney
general. Democratic nominee George Jepsen (D) ran unopposed in yesterday’s
primary and is currently gearing up for the fall election against Dean.
George Jepsen has pledged to focus on protection of citizens and civil
rights, as well as protecting the Connecticut’s natural resources. To find

_Colorado_
__Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett (D) ran unopposed in
yesterday’s Colorado primary. Garnett is challenging incumbent Attorney

_Georgia
_Former Cobb County Commission Chair Sam Olens (R) won his Republican runoff
finalizing what is sure to be a spirited November contest between Olens and
former Dougherty County district attorney Ken Hodges (D). Hodges welcomed
Olens to the contest; "While I've spent my career as a prosecutor keeping
Georgia safe, Sam has spent his career as a political administrator," Hodges
