I'm writing at Liz's request to share an invitation for an event hosted by the State Department and USAID on the reform effort, an initiative you know USGLC has been very engaged with. We understand this will be a large event for around 200 people, and it should be a nice chance to hear directly from those leading the effort as well as to share any recommendations.

Dear Partners,

On behalf of the Department of State Transformation Management Office and the USAID Transformation Task Team, we would like to invite you to a Fact Finding and Informational Exchange on August 11 from 9 - 10:30 AM in Burns Auditorium at the State Department. Space is limited, so please RSVP by close of business August 8.

This event will be one way for USAID and State Department implementing partners and stakeholders to provide input on how to improve the organizations' efficiency and effectiveness. It will be a large session, with a variety of perspectives. Through this session we aim to provide information about the redesign process, give you a chance to weigh in on significant issues, and listen to your suggestions and ideas.
Throughout the redesign process, we will be conducting multiple sessions like this one to hear from as many of our partners and interested stakeholders as possible. If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, or do not get a chance to share all of your recommendations, you may submit suggestions to joint State and USAID team by emailing Redesign2017@usaid.gov<mailto:Redesign2017@usaid.gov>.
