Here's New York City Mayor Bloomberg talking about his Gracie Mansion
breakfast with Vice President Biden on Thursday:

"Let me tell you, Joe Biden is a charming guy. I’ve known him over the
years. We were together this past year, less than a year ago, on 9/11. We
were together with (DOT commissioner) Janette Sadik-Khan standing under the
ramp to the Brooklyn Bridge which we are redoing. I had a- maybe an hour and
a half breakfast with the vice president this morning. We talked about
everything under the sun, except the weather, I don’t think the weather came
up - it was actually okay. We talked about one of this administration’s
great concerns which I think they’re right – jobs.

"How you bring jobs back to America, education long term, short term what
kinds of things we could do? He was interested in my views as to how the
economy in New York City was doing. (We) talked a little bit of politics as
you would expect and talked about getting together again. He’s a very
charming guy. He’s very smart, and he has a lot of experience, and I think
the president probably relies on him for a lot of advice. Joe Biden’s been
there, done that for a long time. He’s only one year younger than me. I
can’t find anybody that’s older than me. I think they’re all retired, gone
or something or other."
