Ferguson leads Dunn in King 5 Attorney General Poll>

A new KING 5 Poll finds Democrat Bob Ferguson leading Republican Reagan Dunn
in the race for Washington's Attorney General next year. The KING
5/SurveyUSA poll finds Ferguson at 39 percent, Dunn at 34 percent and a
large 26 percent are undecided. Both King County Council members are vying
to be the state’s top lawyer.

[6]Grant to help fight knock-off goods in MS
WLOX – September 26, 2011
A new grant will help Mississippi continue the fight against counterfeit
merchandise. Attorney General Jim Hood announced Monday that his office has
won a $200,000 federal grant for 2012 to advance its "Operation Knock Out
Knock-Offs" program.

[7]Kroger's goals for a second term as attorney general
The Statesman Journal – September 24, 2011
John Kroger said that whatever happens with the state budget if he is
elected to a second term as attorney general next year, he will maintain an
aggressive pursuit of criminal justice and consumer protection. “You’re not
going to see a major change in direction in a second term,” he said.

[8]Missouri AG Koster to run for second term
St. Louis Post - Dispatch, September 23, 2011
Missouri Democratic Attorney General Chris Koster is running for a second
term. Koster's campaign said Friday that he had announced his re-election
bid at the home of the Jackson County Democratic Party chairman. No
Republican candidate has announced plans yet to run for attorney general
next year.

[9]Zoeller agrees to return campaign cash from Durham
The Indianapolis Star – September 23, 2011
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller has agreed to return $11,000 in
campaign contributions from indicted businessman Tim Durham. The bankruptcy
trustee for Akron, Ohio-based Fair Finance Co. submitted the settlement for
court approval Wednesday, the Indianapolis Business Journal
reported. Zoeller's campaign treasurer, Andrew Buroker, said it was simpler
to return the money to Fair Finance than to go to court.
