Mr. Biden,

Thank you for your continued commitment and dedication to WFP USA. Currently we are at $298,000 towards the $500,000 goal for the Awards Ceremony on October 24th.
It is my understanding, you might be able to assist WFP USA with securing sponsorships with Alcoa and Heinz.

Derry followed up the initial letter with an email to Tammy Aupperle , Director, H.J. Heinz foundation on 9/8/2011 but has not received a response to our sponsorship request of $10,000.
Is it possible for you to follow up with Ms Aupperle or your contact at H.J. Heinz Foundation?

Regarding Alcoa, we have not received a response from our initial request. Is it possible for you to follow up with Alcoa as well?
