How nice to receive such wonderful news from you my dear Brother Charles. You are connecting me to yet another of your many friends. And this time round to a very special person.

I look forward to meeting and welcoming you Mr. Hunter Biden to Dadaab. As head of Lutheran World Federation in Dadaab I will be present to welcome you in the Ifo camp that you will be visiting. We can also meet again during the lunch meeting to which I have been invited.

I have been working in Dadaab for slightly over 3 years and though it is a very tough place I have enjoyed my working here with refugees. Our agency's mandate is camp management and this gives us opportunity to interact a lot with WFP especially during food distribution to refugees. LWF also manages schools in Hagadera another of the camps and where WFP supports our work through school feeding program.

I am sure you will find Dadaab to be an amazing place. Again, Welcome.

I hope this email finds you well in Dadaab. I want to introduce you to the new chair of the World Food Programme, Hunter Biden. He is coming to Kenya on 9/18 and will be visiting Dadaab and wanted you both to connect.
Hunter- Anne is my Kenyan family and does amazing work managing aspects of Dadaab and settling refugees and of late As you are aware, it's been astronomical the volumes that they are managing. Once you meet Anne, you too will want to call her your family. She is fantastic and has made Kenya my second home since 2007.
I hope that you will be able to meet. When the new deputy director of UNHRC was appointed Alex Aleinekoff, former dean of the GU law school, he took my advice and meet Anne which proved to be very helpful to him in his on-boarding process.
