Dear R.Hunter,

"This is not class warfare, it's math."

With those seven words, President Obama threw down the political gauntlet. No longer can Republicans continue tax breaks for the richest among us while slashing away at Medicare, Social Security and the middle class in the name of deficit reduction.

We are trying to collect 50,000 signatures before tonight's GOP debate. Click here and make sure the GOP knows you will fight for a deal that makes the ultra-rich pay their fair share.

The GOP candidates must know when they take that stage, that Democrats are going to fight back.

We will fight because trying to deal with Republicans won't work. The only "deal" they are interested in is the deal that lets people like Warren Buffett pay a smaller share of their income in taxes than their secretaries. It's wrong, and President Obama's "Buffett Rule" will help change that.

But they say President Obama is engaging in "class warfare." And one Tea Party Congressman even said that he can't afford a tax hike because he only has $400,000 per year to live on. $400,000 per year?!

Send the GOP a message tonight. Oppose their efforts to destroy Medicare, the middle class and President Obama.
