Dear Team Sky Parents,

As the Team Parents for Team Sky, Maria and I hope you are adjusting to the
new fall routines and the craziness that it entails. There's just one more
thing you need to add to your fall schedules however...

We want to let you know about the upcoming Sidwell Potlucks, which were
designed to foster a sense of community within the Team and to encourage
friendships among groups who otherwise might not have the opportunity to get
to know one another. We need volunteers who are willing to host a potluck
at their house. The dates selected by the school -- and that the PA hopes
everyone can work with -- are the weekends of:

October 28th-30th
November 4th-6th
November 11th-13th

Please remember that these events are casual. They do not need to be
sit-down dinners. People can walk around, eat, chat, whatever works. These
are comfortable laid-back events. And most of all, it's not a cooking
contest. It is common for the host to provide the main course but that's
not written in stone.

The potlucks don't work without hosts! Please let Maria and I know as soon
as possible if you are able to host and which day works best for you. Once
we hear from you, we will be in touch with the next steps.
