Hello parents of my advisees,<br />

By now I am sure you know that I am the advisor of your child. There are 11 advisees this year: six returning 8th graders and five 7th graders have joined us. All of the kids seem to be enjoying each others' company at lunch and in the mornings.<br />
<br />
I wanted to pass along a few dates to keep in mind. This Thursday, Sept. 22 is our first service day. I sent a permission form home with each advisee last night, but I am also attaching it here. We are going to be going to S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat) all four service days this year. The other three days are Nov. 3, April 12 and May 10. I have been taking students to S.O.M.E. for about 28 years.<br />

Back to School Night is October 6 at 6:00 in the evening. After introductory talks you will come to my room (312 in the Middle School) to hear about life on Team Sky and in my advisory. I will give you your child's schedule, and you will be able to go to all of his or her classes.<br />
<br />
Conferences this year are on the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 25 and all day on Wednesday, Oct. 26. At Back to School Night you will sign up for a time to meet with me. You will also be able to 'drop in' and visit with any, or all, of your child's teachers.<br />
<br />
We are off to a great year, and I look forward to seeing all of you in the near future.<br />
