Did you see Chris' email about our important upcoming deadline? It's a big deal.

We're closing our books on the current fundraising quarter at midnight Friday so I can start compiling our September 30 F.E.C. report. I know that the press in Delaware and across the country will look closely at that report to gauge the strength of Chris' grassroots support, and the depth of support for the issues -- like job creation -- that he's been fighting for down in Washington.

I've been proud to watch Chris these last ten months as he's fought hard for the people of Delaware. That means pushing hard for common-sense policies, like those in his jobs plan, and getting past the partisan gridlock in Washington.

Christy,

Over my first ten months in the Senate, I've done everything in my power to fight for the interests of hard-working Delawareans.

I've fiercely advocated for job creation, investments in clean energy technology, improvements in our schools, equal rights for all, and a common-sense approach to dealing with our national budget.

We're making progress, but the fact is, there are still too many people in Washington who put narrow partisan interests ahead of the national interest, folks who refuse to find common ground for the good of the country.

As long as I'm in the Senate, I'll never stop fighting to do the right thing for the people of Delaware -- even in the face of obstruction and partisanship -- but I need your help to keep up the fight.
