Biographical Information

Dr. Hani al-Mulki was appointed as Minister of Trade and Industry, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He served previously as the Foreign Minister of Jordan from October 2004 until April 2005. He succeeded H.E. Marwan Muasher as Foreign Minister. He served as part of the negotiating team which produced the treaty between Jordan and Isreal in 1994 and has served as Jordan's Ambassador to Egypt. Dr. al-Mulki was previously appointed as the Scientific Advisor to His Majesty King Abdullah II. He was appointed as a member of the Jordanian Senate, a position to which he has been reappointed in addition to his current service as Minister of Trade and Industry.
