There were so many races in September, Charm City Run didn't want our runners to
miss a single one.
This weekend is packed full with four events. If you are participating in any of
the races, make note of the packet pick-up dates, times and locations to make sure
you get your packet and T-shirt!

Shawan Downs' Run With The Horses 10K and Relay

Fri., Sept. 23 at 6 p.m.

Shawan Downs in Hunt Valley, Md.

The Run with the Horses 10K course will start at Shawan Downs and take you on a
scenic cross country run through the beautiful Worthington Valley and end on the
actual race course at Shawan Downs.

New this year: The option for a relay team to enter the field. The first leg is
for the distance runner and will be approximately four miles while the second leg
is for the hill enthusiast, approximately 2.5 Shawan Downs' rolling hills.

Great Prostate Cancer Challenge Baltimore

In 2011, more than 220,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and more
than 27,000 will die from the disease. The doctors and staff at Chesapeake Urology
Associates are committed to fighting this common male cancer. Help us raise awareness
of prostate cancer, raise funds for prostate cancer research to find a cure and
provide free screenings to catch this cancer at an early stage, especially among
African American men, who have 60 percent greater risk.
