I’m not surprised the NRCC is scared -- we just had our third ratings change to “Leans Republican” in two weeks, and we just doubled Karen Handel in fundraising for the second straight campaign finance report. And our new poll we released this week has us just one point down -- meaning this race is a pure toss up.
With this much momentum, it’s no wonder the GOP is throwing tons of money at this race. Let’s keep it going and make sure our message gets out to voters across the district.

R. -- If you saw this week, the NRCC (funded by dark money and corporate PACs), placed 1.4 MILLION DOLLARS in ads against us. Today, we just found out that they made our district their top investment in the country for next week’s TV ads.
That 1.4 number is more than we expected -- but I have to say it makes sense. The polls show that this race is tightening, and the GOP is spending accordingly.
We don’t have millions of corporate PAC dollars on our side to keep up -- we’re relying on grassroots supporters like you to help us compete with Karen Handel and the NRCC. In a toss-up race like this, every minute of advertising matters, especially with the amount of money we’re up against.
Tomorrow morning, when the bank opens, we’ll need to wire money to TV stations to keep our ads on the air through election day. To make sure we have enough, we need to raise $13,727.
