The Fifth Congressional District of New Jersey is one of the last true swing districts in the country. Josh Gottheimer, a former executive at Microsoft and speechwriter for Bill Clinton, is a fiscal conservative and social progressive. Josh is running against Tea Party Incumbent, Scott Garrett, who he has outraised every quarter. Josh was recently named one of the top three expansion opportunities for Democrats this cycle and his race was recently highlighted in the New York Times where he was called a "promising challenger in 2016 thanks in large part to his prowess as a fund-raiser and also to a centrist political message."
