Will's Cornell story. -------------------- Neil Callahan Rosemont Seneca 917-945-9516 Begin forwarded message: > From: William Lee <will@rstp.com> > Date: May 20, 2014 at 5:35:54 PM EDT > To: "Suzanne T. Cole" <suzanne@troyinv.com> > Cc: John DeLoche <john@rstp.com>, Neil Callahan <neil@rstp.com> > Subject: Re: Cornell FYI- Will do we know any of these others, see David's note below > > Julian Pelenur, John Belizaire and Mauricio Alvarez studied under Professor Ken Birman at Cornell's Computer Science department in the field of distributed systems. Julian's whole family went to Cornell, (dad and 2 brothers). John Belizaire and his wife also went to Cornell. I went to the same Cornell's Masters Program as Julian, John and Mauricio one year afterwards. Professor Birman invested at our first company, The Theory Center. Four of the five cofounders went to Cornell's CS department. The name pays tribute to Cornell Theory Center where Julian had spent his undergrad days on its supercomputer. The Theory Center became the WebLogic Commerce Server after the BEA System acquisition, the WebLogic platform powered the world's top ecommerce servers on the Internet, now it is part of Oracle's Fusion Middleware. The Theory Center returned 100x plus to its original investors. Julian, John, Mauricio currently are LPs of RSTP, and are on our reference list. > > William Lee > Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners (RSTP) > Sent from my iPhone > >> On May 20, 2014, at 1:49 PM, "Suzanne T.
