Subject: Delaware Inaugural Ball

Hi Todd,

I just left you a phone message but since I have your email I hope this is easier. I have been doing everything I can to get through to VP Biden and Dr. Biden's office to see if they could stop by our Inaugural Ball on Sunday night at the Fairmont Hotel.

I have not heard back, and of course I didn't expect to, but I wonder if you know of any way I could get through to ask if one of their sons or daughter could come by for a 30 minute photo op for the guests at this ball? There are about 300-400 people coming and many are from Delaware. They have been writing and calling me hoping I'm going to have the Vice President at the party. It would be such a thrill if any member of the Biden family could stop by for pictures and I know they would be so happy to meet a member of the Biden family!

We are expecting several from the NY delegation - including the Governor, and my wish is to have someone from Delaware there too.

Thanks Todd for any help you can offer. I'm sorry Senator Coons won't be able to make it, he'll be missed by all of us!
