She also talked to Stuart Grant, who said it sounded like it will be a
total puff piece. She asked a few pro forma questions about health that he
batted down, but the bulk were questions that allowed him to gush about
Beau, his wonderful future and standing within the state, as well as his
big accomplishments as AG.

She asked for an interview with Carney, but he was out of town and gave
this as his statement--

“I’ve known Beau Biden and his family for many years. He’s a good man, a
talented public servant, and a friend. He’s served our state very well as
Attorney General, and as a member of the Delaware National Guard. As Beau
pursues his next steps when his term as Attorney General is over, I know
he’ll do it with the same dedication and commitment to service that he’s
demonstrated his whole life.”
