Hunter,

Joaquin is right. It is time for open and honest action on immigration reform. Despite what John Boehner said last week, the GOP has been anything but open and honest.

This week, Joaquin introduced an amendment that would allow certain DREAMer students to be eligible for military academies. This morning, the Republican majority blocked the amendment. They won't even allow a debate. What part of that is open and honest?!

This country is ready for real progress on immigration reform. If you haven't added your name to our petition, please do so right now >>

Matt,

It’s time for action! Speaker John Boehner was in my hometown of San Antonio this week and he was asked about Immigration Reform. He said that his GOP colleagues want to deal with the issue, “openly, honestly and fairly.”

And, I agree. It is time for John Boehner and the GOP to start being open and honest about immigration reform and stop playing politics. I’m ready to make real progress on this issue now.

If you agree that it’s time for Speaker Boehner to take action and take on immigration reform add your name to mine!

It’s almost been a year since the Senate passed their version of immigration reform. Our country cannot afford to wait any longer and doesn’t deserve to wait on empty promises from the GOP leadership.

Help me send a message to John Boehner and the GOP in Washington that we need to take up Immigration Reform now! Add your name to my online petition now >>

Thanks for standing up,

Joaquin
