I am writing to invite you to be a judge at Tata’s U.S. regional Innovation Day on Thursday February 26, 2015. The event will take place at the Tata Communications office at 2355 Dulles Corner Boulevard #700, Herndon, VA 20171.

As know well, innovation is of great value to the Tata group of companies and we even have a separate company – Tata Quality Management Services (www.tataquality.com<http://www.tataquality.com/>) – that fosters innovative practices and encourages ever higher standards of quality and initiative. We have an annual Innovation Day awards ceremony in Mumbai where all our senior executives come together to honor innovation awardees at the end of July.

We are having our U.S. regional competition – called Innovista 2015 - on February 26, and if you are able, I’d be very happy if you could serve as a judge on our 3-person jury. There will be about a dozen teams competing, each of whom will take 10-12 minutes to present, and the whole event should run from about 9:30 a.m. through 3:00pm. The two other judges are Alex Triantis<http://scholar.rhsmith.umd.edu/atriantis/home> (invited) and Millicent Pitts<http://www.oceanexchange.org/employee/millicent-wallace-pitts/>.
