One late addition to the WIR. I just got an email from the director of youth programs at First State Community Action Association. She agreed that First State would join the Shield of Protection Initiative - giving us youth serving organization partners is every county in DE. For reference, I’ve attached a one pager on the SOPI. More info will be included in the board packet on Monday.

1. Programming Update: This week we had three NetSmartz trainings (Newark Parks & Rec Camp, Western YMCA camp and the Hockessin PAL) and served 120 kids. Patty also secured a commitment from the Delaware River and Bay Authority police to train their staff in Stewards of Children.

2. Partnership Update: On Thursday, Patty and Josh had lunch with the CEO and CMO of Doylestown (PA) Hospital and the ED of the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership (all the Bucks Co Hospitals + local and county health officials). We discussed a pilot partnership with Doylestown Hospital where we’d train their staff in Stewards of Children. Then we can pitch the project to the other 4 hospitals in the association.

3. Additional notes: We have a board meeting this coming Thursday, July 20, at 12 pm at BBF HQ in Wilmington. We also sold out of our initial run of BBF ties. We placed another order and have promoted it again on Facebook.
