Friend – in all his time as a Congressman, the only thing Rod Blum has been willing to fight for is his pals on Wall Street. He’s voted numerous times to gut the oversight and regulations put in place to prevent another financial disaster like the Great Recession.

The latest budget proposal from House Republicans is more of the same for Blum and his fellow Freedom Caucus members. They’re trying to further strip protections put in place by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform bill that was passed in 2010 – protections which keep hard-working families from suffering because of Wall Street greed.

It’s time to send someone to Congress who will stand up for the rights of Iowa’s working families. Abby has the experience and know-how to be an effective voice on Capitol Hill.

The recklessness of Blum and the Freedom Caucus arguing for deregulating Wall Street is a recipe for disaster – and one that will almost certainly lead to future bailouts.
