RSPI just signed an engagement today with a Romanian firm (Octogon) looking to sell an LPG (Diesel) terminal in Romania on the Black Sea. They are looking to sell for approximately $20m. Interestingly, the terminal is located a mile from a refinery owned by RomPetrol which is a subsidiary of KazMunayGaz, the Kazak State Owned Oil Company. RomPetrol is interested in purchasing the LPG Terminal but it is been put on the back burner due to some Kazak/Romanian political issues. They came to us to see if we can find another buyer. We can’t get paid on the sale to the Kazak entity but maybe if we were able to help with the politics to get this done we could. Kazakstan aside, it seems like we should be able to find someone who would be interested in this. I am getting a teaser and more info but wanted to get you both thinking about this. By the way, it was unclear to me if this terminal has the ability to handle LNG as well, but it is currently an LPG terminal. So, I don’t if this would be of interest to Burisma or not. Thoughts?
