General Dunford, who previously served as Commandant of the Marine Corps and Commander of the International Security Force in Afghanistan, is the nation's highest ranking military officer. He is the principal military advisor to the President, the National Security Council, the Homeland Security Council and the Secretary of Defense, and has been a strong voice for the importance of development and diplomacy in his testimony on Capitol Hill. We look forward to an extraordinary opportunity to engage with him on how to advance America's security and economic interests in some of the world's most challenging places.
