Viewed with a cold investor's eye, they are our economy's future entrepreneurs and workers, and their success and stability ensures a strong economic future.


Either way, we need to invest in educating children.


So either way, $19,000,000 in cuts to education is not something you can describe as "responsible." Cutting higher education budgets every three months through the year is also not something that can be called "stable." If your boss cut your paycheck ever three months, you wouldn't say your income is stable. But the current State Auditor use both those words to describe this failure to our future. The State Auditor even credited State Officials for "using sound budgeting principles".


As State Auditor I won’t care who is governor: if he or she puts the future of Iowa’s children at risk, I will tell the truth and hold them accountable.


We had a good beginning to this campaign but we feel behind on January’s goal. Can you chip in $25? $50? $100? or whatever you can to advance Truth, Integrity, and Accountability for Iowa's kids?
