** NK Linked to Syria Chemical Weapons

North Korea shipped 50 tons of supplies to Syria for use in building what is suspected to be an industrial-scale chemical weapons factory, according to intelligence information cited in a confidential United Nations report, as the
Wall Street Journal’s Ian Talley reported (https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-n-report-links-north-korea-to-syrian-chemical-weapons-1519760023?mod=djemalertNEWS&utm_source=CSIS+All&utm_campaign=03c4650ad5-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_02_27&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_f326fc46b6-03c4650ad5-145367789) this afternoon.

In other North Korea news, Reuters’ Guy Faulconbridge published an exclusive (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-kim-passports-exclusive/exclusive-north-korean-leaders-used-brazilian-passports-to-apply-for-western-visas-sources-idUSKCN1GB2AY?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=CSIS+All&utm_campaign=03c4650ad5-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_02_27&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_f326fc46b6-03c4650ad5-145367789) this morning that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his late father Kim Jong Il used fraudulently obtained Brazilian passports to apply for visas to visit Western countries in the 1990s.
