Team Abby -- How’s your Tuesday going?

Mine’s been slightly stressful. I just wrapped up a meeting with Phil, our Finance Director, and he tells me that we’re only 36% of the way to hitting our February fundraising target. That’s not where we wanted to be halfway through this short month.

So, folks, I have a challenge for you. Will you chip in to help us get to 50% of the way to our goal by midnight tomorrow?

I know these goals might seem arbitrary, but I promise, they’re far from it. Abby is running in one of the tightest races in the country, and every dollar we raise goes towards giving her an edge over Rod Blum and his deep-pocketed allies.

A timely reminder of what we’re up against: We recently got word that Vice President Pence’s PAC is rushing into our district with an open checkbook, ready to protect Blum at all costs.

If we fall behind on our fundraising goals, we run the risk of not being able to respond to far-right meddling like this. That’s why we take them so seriously.
