Dear Parents:

*We need your help* with the Upper School Community Action Club *toy drive*.
The *final collection day is Monday, and they are very short on toys*. *INFO
BELOW!*

If your student can bring in a toy or book on Monday, we would really
appreciate it. *Note: Links below to Amazon wish lists will provide
examples of toys; but please don’t order from Amazon as the toys won’t
arrive in time.) *

Many many thanks for helping our students support the wider community.

WHO WE ARE:
The Community Action Club is the Upper School’s only local community
service organization. We work year-round through a mixture of advocacy,
hands-on service, and student body engagement to combat disparity in our
surrounding community. We would love your help in collecting toys for our
upcoming Winter Toy Drive with FAPAC and Rosemount Center!

* WHO:
FAPAC (Foster and Adoptive Parent Advocacy Center) and Rosemount Center*In
a model that pairs advocacy with partnership, FAPAC works to improve practices,
policies and regulations that impact DC's adoptive and foster families.
They provide direct individual and group support and training services.

Rosemount Center prepares children and families for their future by providing
bilingual early childhood education and family support services to pregnant
women, infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in the DC area.

* WHY:
The Community Action Club has maintained a longstanding partnership with
FAPAC and Rosemount due to the groups’ deep commitment to bettering the
lives of children and families in the DC area. This year will mark CAC’s
FOURTH year of collaboration with FAPAC and Rosemount for our annual winter
toy drive!

*WHAT:
FAPAC works with children of all ages. Books, dolls, toy trucks and craft

Rosemount serves children ages 0-5, so we suggest board books,
stuffed animals,
