I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the fall weather.


I appeal to you twice a year; once in the spring when you receive our annual
appeal letter and once again in the fall, when we have traditionally
participated in the Help the Homeless Walk, sponsored by Fannie Mae. We
have taken advantage of Fannies 20% matching over the past few years and it
has been a true blessing. Of course we wonder what will happen next year,
but for this year, at least, the program is in full swing and just last
week, we held the AFH Mini-Walk.


For every dollar we collect and hand in this coming Friday, Fannie will
match it with 20% additional.


I simply ask you to make a check out to "Help the Homeless", place "AFH" in
the memo and get it to me, by Thursday of this week. Call me and I will
come get it; and, if you haven't already received one, donate more than
$360.00 and I will deliver to you, a genuine AFH, Delft Blue Tzedakah Box;
made in Gouda, NL (pronounced "chouda" like in "Challah").


AFH houses approximately 14 homeless individuals in apartments we rent and
condominiums we own. Through your generosity, over the last year, we have
invested in an additional condominium, which allows us to lower our cost of
housing and added an additional client to the list of those we help. Most
of our clients become productive citizens. No one wants to be homeless.
